The Moneybox dashboard reports that my ads.txt file has missing lines. What action is required?
Procedure for Resolving ads.txt "Missing Lines" Errors
If the ads.txt validation tool in your Moneybox dashboard reports that lines are missing from your file, you must take corrective action to ensure full monetization.
General Requirement (All Users)
For most users, this notification means you must integrate the specific lines that the validation tool has identified as missing into your live ads.txt file.
Important Guideline for Blogger / Character-Limited Platforms
If your website is hosted on a platform that imposes a strict character limit (such as Blogger), and you previously had to truncate (cut) the file to meet this limit, you must review your implementation.
It is imperative to verify that the lines you removed were only from the very end of the file.
Our ads.txt file is intentionally structured in order of partner importance. The most critical partners are listed first. Therefore, if any lines must be deleted to meet a platform's constraints, they must be the last lines in the list.
If you are in any doubt regarding this procedure, please do not hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.
