What is the reason for self-promotional banners appearing instead of paid advertisements?

Explanation for the Display of House Advertisements

The display of The Moneytizer's house advertisements is expected behavior in two specific scenarios:

1. Initial Tag Integration When you first integrate our tags (either for a new site activation or when adding a new ad format), our system deliberately serves these house banners. They function as placeholders to allow you to verify that the ad unit is positioned correctly on your site and is rendering as expected.

Paid campaigns will begin to populate these units once the integration is validated, typically within a timeframe of a few minutes to several hours, contingent upon your site's traffic volume.

2. Publisher's Own Browsing Activity You may also observe these house ads during your own monetization. This is a common occurrence if you, as the site administrator, generate unusual browsing patterns (such as multiple rapid page refreshes or remaining inactive on a single page for an extended period).

Our pre-bid system may recognize the IP address associated with your administrator account and, after a certain threshold, our SSP partners may stop bidding on that specific session. The house ad is then displayed as a fallback.

It is important to understand that this behavior does not impact your actual site visitors. The system identifies them as "active users" and will continue to serve them paid creatives from our SSP partners.
