How to Activate Your Site

How to Activate Your Site

Procedure for Site Activation

Following the successful validation of your site by our team, you may now proceed with the activation process.

This procedure consists of two essential, mandatory components: the integration of our ads.txt file and the implementation (or confirmation) of a GDPR-compliant consent banner (CMP). Completion of both steps is required to activate the site and gain access to our ad tags.

Step 1: ads.txt File Integration

You have the option to proceed with either an automatic (recommended) or a manual installation.

  • Automatic Installation (Recommended): In your Moneybox, navigate to the ads.txt section and select the automatic installation option. Follow the provided procedure, which involves integrating the ads_tm file. This technology is designed to operate without conflict alongside other advertising networks.

  • Manual Integration: For manual implementation, download the complete ads.txt file from your Moneybox and follow the provided integration guide.

Note: If you are already working with other ad networks, you must add their ads.txt lines to our file before uploading it to your server.

Step 2: GDPR Consent Banner (CMP) Implementation

To ensure legal compliance with current data protection regulations (GDPR) and to monetize European traffic, all publishers must integrate a compliant CMP.

  • For Publishers with an Existing CMP: You must verify that your current consent banner is IAB TCF 2.0 compliant. You can check this by cross-referencing it with the official IAB list: https://iabeurope.eu/cmp-list/
Once confirmed, please use the verification button in your dashboard.

  • For Publishers Without a CMP: We provide a free, compliant CMP. You can retrieve the integration code directly from your dashboard.

Next Steps

Upon successful completion of both prerequisite steps, your account will be fully activated, and you will gain access to our ad format tags. You may then proceed with the integration of your desired ad units.
