How to Manually Integrate ads.txt on WordPress (Without FTP)

Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Here are the steps to manually integrate your ads.txt file:

  1. From the sidebar of your WordPress dashboard, click on the “Plugins” tab, then on “Add New”

 

  1. In the plugin search bar, type "File Manager". The plugin will appear in the suggestions;
     install and activate it.


3. Once this is done, the extension will appear in the sidebar of your dashboard. Click on the “WP File Manager” tab.
4. You will now have access to the WP File Manager dashboard. This plugin will allow you to insert your ads.txt file in the root of your site.


  1. In the toolbar, click on the “New File” icon, and then on the TXT option.


 

 

 










6. Name the newly created file “ads.txt”.

  1. Right-click on your newly created file, then select the “Code editor” option. A new window will open.

 

  

  1. Copy the ads.txt text from your Moneybox and paste it into the code editor window.


  1. Save the file.

 

 

  1. Verify the file location.
    Check that the file is present at the same level as the "wp-admin", "wp-content", and "wp-includes" folders. If this is the case, then your file is well integrated.

 

  1. Clear your cache. Your ads.txt file is now integrated.

Important Notes

      You can also use this plugin to update your ads.txt file in the future.

      You can uninstall this plugin after setting up the file; the changes will be kept.
