Troubleshooting Third-Party CMP Recognition Failures

If you have a Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated, but our system does not recognize it, the issue is typically one of two critical configuration errors:

  1. The CMP is not compliant with the IAB TCF v2.0 standard.

  2. The CMP is compliant but is missing The Moneytizer's vendor list.

This guide outlines the mandatory steps to verify and resolve these issues.

Step 1: Verify TCF v2.0 Compliance

A CMP must be officially certified by the IAB to be programmatically detected.

  • How to Verify: Your CMP provider must be present on the official IAB Europe CMP list, which can be checked here:

  • Consequence of Non-Compliance: If your CMP does not meet this standard, programmatic buyers cannot detect user consent, which will significantly affect or eliminate your revenue.

  • Important Note: Some CMP providers (e.g., Cookiebot) require you to manually "unlock" or activate the TCF 2.0 component within their platform's settings. Please ensure this is enabled.

Step 2: Add The Moneytizer's Vendor List

If your CMP is compliant, you must then ensure it is configured with our complete list of advertising partners ("vendors"). This is a mandatory step to authorize all possible ad buys.

  1. Navigate to the "Consent Banner" (or "CMP") tab in your Moneybox.

  2. Select the option "I already have a CMP".

  3. Copy the complete list of vendors provided and add it to your CMP's configuration.

Step 3: Escalate to Support

If you have performed both operations and our system still fails to recognize your CMP as compliant, please contact our support service at contact@themoneytizer.com.

To expedite diagnostics, please provide the following information in your request:

  1. Your site's URL.

  2. The name of your CMP solution (e.g., Iubenda, Cookiebot, Sirdata).

  3. The specific plan or tier of your CMP service (e.g., premium/base).

  4. Confirmation of whether you use Cloudflare on your site.
