I have a CMP banner. Is it mandatory to replace an existing consent banner with The Moneytizer's CMP?

Policy on Using a Third-Party Consent Banner (CMP)

No, it is not mandatory to replace your existing consent banner, provided it meets two essential conditions:

  1. It must be compliant with the IAB TCF v2.0 standard.

  2. It must be configured to include The Moneytizer's complete list of advertising partners ("vendors").

Step 1: Verify IAB TCF v2.0 Compliance

Your CMP solution must be officially recognized by the IAB. If your banner does not meet this standard, programmatic buyers cannot detect user consent, which will significantly impact or eliminate your revenue.

  • How to Verify: Your provider must be present on the official IAB Europe CMP list, which can be checked here:

  • Important Note: Some CMP providers (e.g., Cookiebot) require you to manually "unlock" or activate the TCF v2.0 component within their platform's settings. Please ensure this is enabled.

Step 2: Add The Moneytizer's Vendor List

If your CMP is compliant, you must add The Moneytizer's complete list of vendors. This is a mandatory step to ensure all possible advertising partners are authorized to bid for your inventory, which is essential for maximizing revenue.

  1. Navigate to the "Consent Banner" tab in your Moneybox.

  2. Select the option "I already have a CMP".

  3. Copy the complete list of vendors provided and add it to your CMP's configuration.
