If your website receives even a small percentage of traffic from the European Union, a CMP is essential for your advertising strategy.
Here’s what it does:
Sends a Legal Signal: This consent is passed along to advertising partners, giving them the legal basis to serve personalized ads on your site.
Once the CMP collects this consent, you can begin displaying targeted ads and monetizing your European traffic effectively and legally.
IMPORTANT:The Moneytizer ads are conditional on visitor consent. This means that ads will not be displayed if no CMP is present on your site.
Displaying our consent banner on your website is simple!
Standard Installation:
Log in to your Moneytizer account.
Copy the CMP script provided in your dashboard/Moneybox.
Paste this code into the <head> section of your website's HTML.
WordPress Users: If you use our official WordPress plugin, we offer an automatic integration. Simply activate the feature within the plugin settings to simplify the process even more.
If you prefer to use your own existing CMP, you must ensure it is configured correctly to work with our ad partners. An improperly configured CMP can negatively impact your advertising revenue.
Please verify the following:
Is your CMP IAB TCF v2.2 Compliant? Your CMP must be on the official IAB Europe list of approved CMPs that adhere to the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). This is the industry standard for handling user consent.
Are all Moneytizer "Vendors" included? For the best possible monetization, you must add all of The Moneytizer's advertising partners (known as "Vendors") to your CMP's list of approved data processors. If your CMP doesn't have our complete list of vendors, many of them will be blocked from bidding on your ad space, which could significantly lower your revenue.
You can find the list of required vendors in your Moneytizer dashboard.
