Introduction

To ensure you can receive your earnings, it's crucial to correctly set up your payment method in your Moneytizer account. This process is simple and is divided into four main steps. To get started, you will first need to set up a 2-step verification for enhanced account security.

This guide will walk you through each step of the process to ensure your payment information is accurate and ready for invoice generation.


Set Up 2-Step Verification

For security purposes, you must first verify your identity with a mobile phone number before you can access your payment settings.

  1. Log in to your Moneytizer account.

  2. On the left-hand navigation menu, click on "My Profile."

  3. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to "Set up 2-step verification."

  4. Enter your mobile phone number in the designated field.

  5. Click "Send code."

Once you receive the verification code on your phone, you can enter it to proceed to the next step and begin the payment setup process.




Step 1:Enter Your Information (Address)


Special Note for French Publishers

If you are a French publisher and you selected "Individual" in the previous step, you will see an additional option at the bottom of the form: "Auto entrepreneur?" Please select "Yes" or "No" to accurately reflect your status.

Important: Payment Country

By default, the system will only allow you to select a payment country that matches your country of residence.

If your bank is registered in a different country, you must first contact our support team at contact@themoneytizer.com to enable this option. For example, if you live in Japan but your bank is in Luxembourg, you need to contact us first.

Once our support team has confirmed access, you can go back to Step 1 in your profile and click Edit. You will then see a new option: "If you want to be paid in a country different than the above, select a country below."

Clicking this will display the full list of countries, allowing you to select the one where your bank account is held.






Step 2: Choose Your Payment Method

After entering your address details, you will move to the next step: "Payment Method." The available options will vary based on your country of residence and the currency you select.

Tipalti, our payment partner, offers several options for you to receive your earnings:

  • Local Transfer / SEPA Transfer

  • Direct Deposit / ACH

  • Wire Transfer

  • PayPal

You will need to select the option that is most suitable for you. Below is a breakdown of each payment method.

Local Transfer / SEPA Transfer

This is a great option for users in the SEPA/EUROPE zone or those with a European bank account that accepts SEPA payments. It's a low-cost and efficient way to receive your funds.

  • Eligibility: Users in the SEPA/EUROPE zone or with a European bank account.

  • Currency: Euro (€)

  • Transaction Fee: €0.50

Important: If you use a digital bank like Wise or Revolut, you must select this payment method to ensure your payment is processed correctly.


Direct Deposit / ACH

This method is exclusively available for users residing in the United States.



International Wire Transfer

Choose this option if you don't live in the U.S. and aren't eligible for a SEPA transfer.

  • Eligibility: Users outside of the United States and the SEPA zone.

  • Currency: Your choice

Transaction Fee: Up to €13.00, plus a 3% currency conversion fee if your chosen currency is different from the account currency.





PayPal

PayPal is a convenient option for users worldwide.

  • Eligibility: Available globally.

  • Transaction Fee: 2% of the amount + €0.50, with a maximum fee of €21.00.

After selecting your preferred payment method and entering the required banking details, make sure to check the box to agree to the Tipalti Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Then, click Next to continue to the next step.

Important: Payments via PayPal can only be received in U.S. dollars (USD). Please note that although the option to receive payments in euros via PayPal may appear in Tipalti, it cannot be disabled on our side due to platform limitations. For this reason, we kindly ask you to pay close attention when selecting the payment currency.


Choosing Your Payment Currency

For payments processed via Wire Transfer and PayPal, you will have the option to select the currency in which you wish to receive your earnings. 

Important: Payments via PayPal can only be received in U.S. dollars (USD). Please note that although the option to receive payments in euros via PayPal may appear in Tipalti, it cannot be disabled on our side due to platform limitations. For this reason, we kindly ask you to pay close attention when selecting the payment currency.


Important: Minimum Payment Threshold

In some cases, a minimum threshold is required to process a payment in a specific currency. For example, payments in PEN (Peruvian Sol) are only available above a USD 1,030.00 equivalent. If this minimum is not reached, the payment cannot be issued.

It is crucial to be aware of these thresholds to ensure your payments are not delayed.



Step 3: Complete Your Tax Information

Next, you will need to provide your tax details. This step will present two options, and you should select the one that corresponds to your situation:

I am VAT registered: If this applies to you, you will need to enter your VAT Number in the provided field.


I am not VAT registered: If you are not VAT registered for tax purposes, select this option. You must then confirm your declaration by checking the box below.

Click Next to continue once all information is entered.



Step 4: Final Confirmation

This is the last step of the payment setup process. After successfully completing the previous steps, you will see a final confirmation screen.

The screen will display "DONE" and a message confirming that your setup is complete and payments will be made according to your selections.

If there is an issue with your submission, Tipalti will notify you. This may happen if information is missing or if additional documents are required. Your account will only be fully enabled to receive payments once everything has been successfully verified.
